Right Conditions for Growth
Can a plant grow when it doesn’t have the right conditions for proper growth? If you garden at all, or take care of a few plants, you know that every plant is different. Every plant has its own needs to prosper—just the right amount of sun or shade, just the right amount of water each week.
If the soil doesn’t have enough nutrients, if the weather is not right for that particular plant or flower, it won’t grow. Too much sun, the leaves burn; too much water, yellow creeps into the leaves. Fertile soil consists of other living organisms. As humans, we are no different. If our relationships aren’t feeding us, if our environment doesn’t suit our true being, or if our conditions are harsh or toxic, how can we grow into our full being?
We can, potentially, but it’s much harder and slower. That said, just like organic vegetables, they are more rich with nutrients because they fought for their survival. They struggled through harsh conditions and sill managed to grow, to bloom. When the right conditions do come about, however, we have the potential to flourish. Most living things face struggle, hardship on this earth, so how can you still bloom—not in spite of it, but because of it.
Soul-Prompt: What conditions do I need to grow? Which relationships or work environments nurture me? How can I better protect my energy from the conditions that don’t support my growth?
