The Power of Unfolding

Like flowers and all things in nature, they have a natural unfolding. The Buddha’s noble 8-fold path, the Fibonacci sequence, cosmic mandalas—the pathways our planets make around the sun. The unfoldment process is one of self-discovery, of finding our own true essence. Plants are alive, but don’t bloom every season because they don’t have all the right conditions to make that possible. A flower’s bloom is the highest form of self-realization—an unfoldment of its own beauty.
The flower grows and ultimately blooms, only to die and come back again. Why do we feel that we are any different than flowers? Some protest, but flowers are connected to a stem, connected to the earth, which is always receiving sustenance to ensure it grows in the next season.
Again, how are we different?
Soul-Prompt: Can I surrender to my own inner unfoldment? What fears or old beliefs hold me back from allowing this? What inside me would bloom?
