The Universe Is Responsive Design
The universe works similar to responsive design—a term I learned when working in marketing that means one builds a website that will auto-adjust to whatever screen size the image is viewed on. The universe operates by the same principles where it adjusts to our beliefs so that you can witness our manifestations in real-time (and sometimes on a delay).
In quantum physics, there doesn’t seem to be one overriding truth, except that the universe appears to be responsive to us. That seats “us” as co-creators with the universe, God, or Unmoved Mover as Aristotle called it—whatever your worldview is.
Belief seems to be the lynchpin in what we receive back from the universe. Physicist Federico Faggin, together with Prof. Giacomo Mauro D'Ariano, propose that consciousness is a fundamental property of reality, not a byproduct of the brain. He proposes that "sentient reality" is composed of sentient quantum fields. Faggin's work on consciousness as a fundamental quantum field adds a profound layer to the 'holographic universe' theory, suggesting that the universe isn't just a projection, but a conscious projection.
Over the last several years, I have come to believe from firsthand experience that we are not only living in in some form of an energetic (most likely holographic) matrix, but it's incredibly much more wild than we ever imagined. This realization is well, shocking. Just as people play video games, where the main character attains different levels, why wouldn't we also be operating by those same mechanics in the wider universe? As above so below.
Do we believe we are worthy of love, a second (third, fourth, fifth) chance, success, happiness, financial abundance, great friendships, whatever it is we desire? Or do we have the opposite beliefs, whether they are conscious or hidden in our subconscious?
One thing is clear—the universe does appear to be operating within some form of responsive design. How will you play the game?
